Coleman Milne has welcomed guests from across the UK funeral sector to experience its highly anticipated, all-electric Etive hearse, based on the popular Ford Mustang Mach-E platform.
Taking place at the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire on 1 March, the event gave guests the opportunity to see the new hearse up close and learn more about its development.
Head of Sales, Graham Clow, and Head of Engineering for Coleman Milne, Ross Garner, gave a unique insight on the vehicle’s inception almost three years ago, and detailed the innovative manufacturing techniques needed to deliver a lightweight, practical and robust all-electric funeral vehicle.
He also explained how, following the event, the Etive hearse would begin an accelerated 40,000 mile durability testing programme at world-renowned vehicle validation facility, UTAC Millbrook, in Bedfordshire.
Guests were also able to learn about the new Etive limousine, the first of which is currently in production, and will join the Etive hearse on a tour of UK customers in May.
Further details on the Etive customer tour will be announced in due course, while more information on Coleman Milne’s Etive range can be found at www.coleman-milne.co.uk
